Students at the International Special Training Center (formerly known as the International LRRP School) in Pfullendorf, Germany practice room-clearing skills during a CQB course.

The ISTC aims to reduce and share training costs through centralization of advanced training of SOF units and to enhance, through an intensive exchange of experience, the knowledge of operations by Special Opreations Forces and similar units.  Although, it is neither a NATO School or under NATO command, the school is advised by the NATO Training Group in order to maintain the doctrinal azimuth of NATO SOF operations. The Federal Republic of Germany is the Host Nation.
